Wiawso College of Education has emerged victorious in the 2025 pedagogical excellence and academic prowess among teacher training institutions from the Western, Western North, and Central regions.
The competition, organized by the Teacher Trainees Association of Ghana (TTAG), aimed to assess the pedagogical knowledge and instructional skills of trainee teachers from various Colleges of Education.
Wiawso College of Education demonstrated remarkable expertise, securing the top position with an impressive score of 34 points. They were closely followed by Foso College of Education, which garnered 32 points.
Other participating colleges included Bia Lamplighter College of Education (24 points), Enchi College of Education (27 points), Komenda College of Education (25 points), Holy Child College of Education (22 points), and Ola College of Education (18 points).
