Ghanaian midfielder Evelyn Badu has signed a new deal with top Norwegian club FK Molde.

The talented Black Queens player joins from French side Fleury 91 and will stay at Molde until the end of the 2025 season.

This move is a big step for Badu as she prepares for the upcoming Womenโ€™s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.

Badu is no stranger to Norwegian football. She played for Avaldsnes in the Toppserien, Norway’s top womenโ€™s league, before moving to France. At Avaldsnes, she played 47 matches and scored two goals. Last season, she featured 13 times for Fleury 91, scoring once.

Moldeโ€™s manager Erlend Holmlund is excited about the new signing. He said, โ€œEven though Evelyn is still young, she has a lot of experience. She has played in Norway, France, and also for Ghanaโ€™s national team.โ€

He also added, โ€œEvelyn is an attacking player with great skills. She can play in different positions and helps the team in many ways.โ€

Badu started her career with Ghanaian side Hasaacas Ladies and is now set to shine again in Norway.
