The Circuit Court Two in Cape Coast has sentenced Samuel Armah, also known as Kofi Nyan, to 10 years imprisonment with hard labour for defilement.
According to a statement issued by the Public Affairs Unit of the Ghana Police Service in Cape Coast, the incident occurred on October 16, 2025.
The case was heard on October 28, 2025, and presided over by Her Honour Nana Aba Quiba Nunoo.
The accused pleaded guilty to the charge and was convicted on his own plea before being sentenced to 10 years imprisonment with hard labour.
Samuel Armah has since been transferred to the Ankaful Prison to begin his sentence.
The police assured the public of their continued commitment to ensuring justice for victims of sexual abuse.
