Franko Sports Academy has announced the appointment of Abdul Suley as its new Chairman.

The academy is excited to welcome Abdul Suley, a seasoned sports enthusiast and community leader, to lead the institution into a new era of growth and success.

Hail from Lineso, a suburb of Bibiani, Mr. Suley’s journey in education and sports began at Lineso M/A School, where he completed his basic education in 2012.

He continued his studies at Bibiani Senior High Technical School, graduating in 2015. His passion for football took root during his time at Decent Academy in Kumasi, where he became one of the academy’s most talented players.

After his successful stint in football, Abdul Suley entered the business world, specialising in the import and export of goods to ECOWAS countries through his work with long vehicles.

However, in 2017, at the age of 25, he was called back to assist with his family’s orthopedic business, a role he embraced and excelled in.

In 2021, Abdul Suley expanded his influence in the sporting world by founding Dossaana Football Club, where he served as the CEO. Under his leadership, the club grew in stature and reputation, laying a solid foundation for his future in sports management.

He later moved on to become Vice Chairman of Bekweiman Football Club, where he played an instrumental role in the team’s qualification for the WRFA Super Middle League, though they narrowly missed promotion to Division One.

Abdul Suley is well known for his hard work, dedication, and philanthropic efforts, particularly in the area of sports development. He has worked tirelessly to support various sports initiatives, with a strong focus on youth engagement and community development.

As the new Chairman of Franko Sports Academy, Abdul Suley brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to nurturing young talent.

His leadership is expected to elevate the academy’s impact, both locally and internationally, as it continues to shape the future of sports in the region.
