His Royal Majesty King Torgbi Xenodzi Dogbey II, ruler of Worgbato-Klikor in Ghana’s Volta Region, was named “A Leader of Excellence” during the Achievers International Awards ceremony held on Friday, July 4, in Tema.

The annual event recognizes excellence across business, science, media, and civic leadership.

King Xenodzi was honored for his pioneering efforts in merging African indigenous knowledge with modern science and off-chain/on-chain digital innovations.

“This award is a torchlight on a journey of purpose, resilience, and divine calling,” King Xenodzi said in his acceptance speech. “Africa must not merely copy models, but awaken the genius already within us.”

Known for promoting what he calls a Black Scientific Renaissance, King Xenodzi has contributed to medicine, sustainable systems, digital asset models, and regenerative technologies, earning recognition far beyond Ghana’s borders.

The King dedicated the honor to African youth, stating, “To the coders in the villages and the kings yet to be revealed—may the flame of innovation never dim.”

Earlier in 2022, King Xenodzi was awarded the Innovator of the Year Award for his inventions. He again received the global Top 50 Humanitarian Awards in the United Kingdom in 2024, where he also served as an honorary advisor to the UK-based organization LOANI Global.

In a surprising move, King Xenodzi has pledged to partner with the Government of Ghana, committing half of his current net worth to establish a $500 billion off-chain reserve for the Republic of Ghana. This initiative aims to transform Ghana’s economy, realize the Ghanaian Dream, and elevate the African continent to a new phase of possibility.

“I want my acquired wealth to touch the life of every Ghanaian, living and yet unborn,” said King Xenodzi.

King Xenodzi is credited with the coded identity of Satoshi Nakamoto, the creator of Bitcoin in 2008, with what he claims as proof beyond reasonable doubt.

He has pledged never to touch his on-chain Bitcoin funds in order to preserve the legacy of Bitcoin, which is now valued at approximately $108,048 per BTC, up from just $0.00076 at its inception in 2008.

He concluded by saying, “Expect a $1 million or more price per BTC in the near future. The future is freedom; the world is not ruled by men but remembered.”
