They Will Correct & Guide You

Their guidance brings you closer to purpose, pruning away pride, ignorance, and complacency.

Biblical Example – Elijah and Elisha (2 Kings 2:1-6):
Elijah, a stern and disciplined prophet, led Elisha on a rigorous journey through Gilgal, Bethel, Jericho, and the Jordan. At each point, Elijah tested Elisha’s commitment by saying, “Stay here, for the LORD has sent me to…”

But Elisha insisted, “As the LORD lives and as you live, I will not leave you.” This correction and testing refined Elisha and prepared him for prophetic succession.

Application:
When your destiny helper corrects you, do not rebel. Embrace their discipline as divine training. Destiny helpers see what you may not, and their counsel prevents destruction.

Don’t take the sacrifices of your destiny helpers lightly. Recognize and honor the selfless love they show, for their sacrifices are often seeds sown into your future harvest.

They May Test Your Obedience & Patience

Explanation:
Before entrusting you with greater help, destiny helpers may test your character. Why? Because divine investments require trustworthy vessels.

Your ability to obey instructions, endure trials, and stay faithful often determines how much help you can truly receive.

Biblical Example – Elijah & Elisha (2 Kings 2:9-10):
Elisha endured the journey with Elijah and passed the test of loyalty and patience. When Elijah finally asked what he wanted, Elisha boldly said, “A double portion of your spirit.”

Elijah replied, “You have asked a hard thing…if you see me when I am taken, it will be yours.” Elisha passed the test and received the mantle.

Application:
Be patient. Don’t despise the seasons of testing—it’s a divine filter. Destiny helpers are often discerning; they invest in those who show maturity, honor, and spiritual depth.

They Will Not Exploit or Take Advantage of You
