Accra will, this week, host one of the most anticipated gatherings in the mining sector as industry players converge at the Kempinski Gold Coast Hotelfor theMining & Minerals Convention 2025, scheduled for September 9โ€“10, 2025.

Themed โ€œShaping the Future of Ghanaโ€™s Gold Industry,โ€ the two-day event seeks to create a platform for policymakers, investors, regulators, and mining stakeholders to deliberate on the transformation of Ghanaโ€™s gold sector.

A highlight of the convention will be the participation of Ing. Frank Pedro Asare, National Coordinator of the Responsible Cooperative Mining and Skills Development Programme (rCOMSDEP).

Ing. Asare, widely recognized for championing responsible and cooperative mining practices, will lead a discussion on the urgent need for reforms, sustainability, and skills development within Ghanaโ€™s gold industry.

Organized in partnership with the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources, the Minerals Commission, and the Ghana Gold Board (GOLDBOD), the convention has attracted strong sponsorship support from GCB Bank, CalBank, and GOLDBOD.

According to the organizers, the Mining & Minerals Convention 2025 is more than just a networking event. It is expected to set the stage for policy direction, investment opportunities, and collaborative strategiesthat will secure the future of Ghanaโ€™s most vital natural resource.
