Asante Kotoko have reportedly reached out to FC Samartex 1996 head coach, Christopher Ennin, as a potential replacement Prosper Narteh Ogum.
A source close to Sefwinews.com has revealed that a member of Asante Kotokoโs Interim Management Committee (IMC) placed a call on Monday afternoon, April 21, 2025, to inquire about Enninโs availability.
The confidential call, placed via telephone, sought to assess the availability and interest of Coach Ennin in taking over the technical leadership of the Porcupine Warriors should the need arise.
The conversation, described as preliminary but serious in tone, centered on Enninโs willingness to make a switch to Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
Asante Kotoko has officially parted ways with head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum following disappointing results. The Porcupine Warriors suffered back-to-back defeats to Accra Lions (3-0) and Nations FC (2-0), which caused them to drop from the top of the league table to fourth place, now trailing leaders Bibiani Goldstars by six points.
