Bibiani Goldstars are fired up and ready to go as they make a journey this Sunday, April 6, 2025, for a Ghana Premier League Week 26 clash against Dreams FC at the Tuba AstroTurf.
With a fantastic season so far, the Miners currently sit second on the league table with 41 points, just one point behind leaders Asante Kotoko.
A victory in Tuba would see Goldstars reclaim the top spot on the league table, especially if Kotoko falters in Kpando — a result that’s highly possible given Kpando’s impressive home form.
Should that happen, Goldstars will be perfectly poised to seize the opportunity and mount a serious push for the title.
Coach Frimpong Manso and his squad have been one of the most consistent teams this season, playing with hunger and determination.
However, Sunday’s match will not be easy. Dreams FC, currently 8th on the table with 33 points, are riding a wave of form, enjoying a seven-match unbeaten streak, including five wins and two draws.
The home side will be eager to keep climbing as the season enters its critical stages.
Earlier this season, Goldstars and Dreams played out a goalless draw in Bibiani during Week 9, but Goldstars will take confidence from a victory over Heart of Lions in midweek and will be hungry to finish what they started.
Goldstars’ attackers, including Samuel Atta Kumi and Charles Kamara Gyamfi, will need to stay sharp and clinical, while the defense, led by stalwarts like Vincent Atinga, will need to keep the dangerous Dreams attack at bay.
The Miners are determined to dig deep, deliver, and continue their push for Premier League glory.
Kick-off: 3:00 PM at Tuba AstroTurf – A win for Goldstars could be the game-changer in the title race.
