The National Vice Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Abanga Yakubu Alhassan, has pledged his unwavering support towards the rise of Western North’s fast-rising music sensation, Supa Sandy, with a commitment that is already making waves in the region’s creative industry.

In a bold show of support for the young talent, Abanga Yakubu Alhassan has donated GH¢50,000 directly to Supa Sandy’s music careerand anadditional GH¢10,000 to her management team to enhance production, promotion, and branding efforts.

His support, however, goes far beyond financial backing. The NDC National Vice Chairman has also pledged to equip Sandy with all the necessary musical equipment and ensure her craft gains national exposure through major media platforms.

Speaking during a brief ceremony to present the support package, Abanga described Supa Sandy as a “rare talent with the potential to represent Western North on the national and global stage.”

He emphasized that empowering creatives, especially from underserved regions, is critical to national development.

In a heartwarming extension of his commitment, Abanga further promised to fully sponsor Supa Sandy’s education from Senior High School through to university, ensuring her personal development goes hand-in-hand with her professional growth.

Supa Sandy and her team were left emotional and overwhelmed by the gesture, describing it as a “life-changing moment”and a major turning point in her music journey.

The artist, who has been steadily gaining attention with her unique sound and lyrical depth, is now poised to take her career to the next level.
