Skyy Football Club’s head coach, Lord Bright Elis, has predicted a fiercely contested encounter as his side prepares to face Sefwi All Stars in the Western derby this Sunday, April 13, at the Asafo Ramos Park.
Matchday 23 of the Access Bank Division One League promises to be a tough and competitive encounter, as both teams battle for crucial points.
Elis, having previously served as head coach of Sefwi All Stars, understands the intensity of this rivalry well.
Reflecting on his knowledge of the opposition, he stated, “I know Sefwi Asafo very well, and I’m familiar with most of the players of Sefwi All Stars — they’re very talented. Skyy Football Club was the last team to beat them 1-0 at Asafo, and that happened before I took over as coach. Since 2021, they haven’t lost a single game there.”
Now in charge of Skyy FC, Elis is fully aware of the challenges ahead, acknowledging the magnitude of the upcoming match.
“With Skyy FC coming back to Asafo and me now at the helm, it’s going to be a tough game for both sides,” he added.
