The much-anticipated 2025 Football Trials organized by Solokra Management Firm officially kicks off today, Friday, June 27, 2025, at the Ramos Town Park in Sefwi-Asafo, Western North Region.
The three-day event, which runs until Sunday, June 29, is aimed at discovering and nurturing young football talents across various age categories. The trials are being organized in partnership with Psalm 16 Agencies, Kahday Global Management, and Fafali Group.
Over 100 young footballers from across the country are expected to participate in the event, which features competitions in the following age groups:
- Under 23: GHC 50 per player
- Under 17 & Under 14: GHC 30 per player
- Under 10 and below: GHC 10 per player
The trials will be held daily from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, and entry is free for the public.
Top scouts including Sports Dokta, Frank Hammond, and Tee have been invited to monitor the sessions and identify promising talents for potential recruitment and support.
Organizers say the trials are not just about spotting talent, but also about providing young footballers with a platform to grow, gain exposure, and possibly pursue professional careers locally and internationally.
