Subiri, a vibrant community in the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipality of Ghanaโ€™s Western North Region, is preparing to honour one of its brightest football exports, Clement Kwarteng, with a grand homecoming match on Sunday, July 20, 2025.

Clement Kwarteng, who now plays for Rรฉal Sports de Parakou FC in the Benin Premier League, is returning to his roots to celebrate his journey with the people who supported him from the start.

The event, set for the Subiri Town Park with kickoff at 3PM, will feature a thrilling encounter between Subiri Golden Warriors FC and FK Migjeret SCโ€”the very club Kwarteng left in 2024 to make his professional move to Rรฉal Sports de Parakou FC.

Clement Kwartengโ€™s rise from the streets of Subiri to Beninโ€™s top-flight football league is a story of discipline, passion, and perseverance.

After a successful spell at FK Migjeret SC, his transfer to Rรฉal Sports marked a major milestone in his career and established him as one of the regionโ€™s most promising footballers.

The Subiri Golden Warriors, representing the community’s pride, are eager to impress in front of a home crowd, while FK Migjeret SC, a competitive side formed in 2019, will look to show their strength with a youthful, energetic squad.

The match will also feature standout players such as Godson Nana Mensah (Sterling) of Sefwi All Stars and Boakye Keneth of GreenPlus Soccer Academy in Cape Coast.

More than just a football game, the occasion will celebrate Kwartengโ€™s success and the community that helped shape him.
