The Western North Regional Communication Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Harry Addo, has reaffirmed the partyโ€™s strong support for Dr.Mahamudu Bawumia, the former Vice President, insisting that nothing has changed in the region regarding his dominance.

Speaking in an interview, Harry Addo emphasized that Dr. Bawumia remains the clear frontrunner in the Western North Region, dismissing suggestions of any shift in grassroots loyalty.

According to him, the former Vice Presidentโ€™s development record and his commitment to the welfare of people in Western North have solidified his position as the preferred choice of delegates and party members.

โ€œNothing has changed in our region โ€“ Western North. DMB is still leading,โ€ Harry Addo stressed, adding that Dr. Bawumia continues to enjoy overwhelming backing across all constituencies in the region.

He explained that Dr. Bawumia, who is vying for the NPPโ€™s presidential slot in an election slated for January 31, 2026, represents the partyโ€™s best hope of retaining power in the 2028 general elections.

Harry Addo further noted that the NPP in Western North is united behind Dr. Bawumiaโ€™s vision, which he described as the most realistic and inspiring path to securing victory in 2028.

He also urged delegates and party supporters to remain steadfast, disciplined, and committed to the cause of the former Vice President, stating that his leadership will not only strengthen the NPP but also provide lasting solutions to Ghanaโ€™s economic challenges.
