68 Candidates vie for MMDCE Positions in Western North Region

A total of 68 candidates have thrown their hats into the ring for the position of District Chief Executive (DCE) across various constituencies in the Western North Region.

The aspiring candidates are competing for the position of Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) in the following constituencies:

  • Bia East: 8 candidates
  • Suaman: 5 candidates
  • Aowin: 8 candidates
  • Bibiani Anhwiso Bekwai: 17 candidates
  • Akontombra: 6 candidates
  • Juaboso: 3 candidates
  • Wiawso: 8 candidates
  • Bodi: 5 candidates
  • Bia West: 8 candidates

These candidates will be vying for the position of MMDCE to lead their respective Municipals and districts, with the hope of improving local governance and contributing to the region’s overall development.

The competition is expected to be intense, as each of the candidates brings unique skills and proposals to the table aimed at advancing the growth and progress of their communities.
