Mr. Ramus Kwofie, the Chief Executive Officer of Raycof Group of Companies, and his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Nyame Kwofie, have constructed an ultra-modern kindergarten (KG) block in the Nsawora-Edumafua community in Akontombra district.

The 3-unit kindergarten block aims to provide the children in the area with a conducive learning environment, laying a strong foundation for their educational journey.

This magnificent ultra-modern facility, named “Queen Elizabeth KG Block” after Mr. Ramus Kwofie’s wife, is a testament to the couple’s commitment to education and community development.

Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, Mr. Ramus Kwofie, the Chief Executive Officer of Raycof Group of Companies, said they (together with his wife) have previously engaged in charitable works elsewhere, they felt the need to shift their focus to Nsawora, a land tied to his wife’s ancestry.

“In this short period, we have had the privilege of supporting the Sefwi Wiawso Secondary Technical School, which honoured us by naming one of their dormitories after us as a testament to the profound impact of our philanthropic efforts. Our support also extended to the children’s ward at the government hospital in Tarkwa, where we have business interests,” he stated.

Mr. Ramus Kwofie who doubles as the Sompahene of Sefwi Wiawso Traditional Council, said their decision to build the kindergarten block was motivated by their desire to contribute to the development of the community.

He acknowledged the teachers and pupils for their cooperation and enthusiasm and expressed hope that the newly constructed kindergarten block would serve as a catalyst for academic excellence.

“May this school nurture future leaders who will make a profound impact on our community and beyond,” he concluded.

She urged parents to prioritize their children’s education and take advantage of the new kindergarten block to enroll their school-going age kids.

The chief of Edumafua, Nana Kofi Aduhene II, who is also Nana Sompahene’s father-in-law, congratulated him on this remarkable achievement.

He encouraged residents to emulate Nana Sompahene’s gesture of giving back to society.
