Adjoafuaman Football Club is set to celebrate its 10th Anniversary with a series of activities spanning three days, starting from Friday, December 27 to Sunday, December 29, 2024.
The milestone event promises to engage the community, promote sportsmanship, and support the club’s growth.
The celebration will kick off on Friday, December 27th, with a general cleaning exercise across the principal streets of Adjoafua from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
Later in the day, various indoor games such as Aware, Dame, Ampe, and Toli will take place from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, offering fun and entertainment for all.
On Saturday, December 28th, management, players, and supporters of the club will engage in radio and media discussions from 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM. This will be followed by a vibrant float at 12:00 noon to rally support and celebrate the club’s achievements.
The day’s activities will climax with a grand durbar at 1:00 PM, where funds will be raised to support the team, alongside the much-anticipated launch of Adjoafuaman FC’s new jersey for the season.
The celebration will conclude on Sunday, December 29th, with a competitive WRFA Division Two League match between Adjoafuaman FC and Adom SC. The match will be held at 2:30 PM and is expected to attract a strong turnout. Entry for the match will be at an affordable rate of GHC 5.
To support the club, contributions have been outlined: management members are expected to donate GHC 200, while supporters and players will contribute GHC 100 each through coupons.
Several clubs have been invited to grace the occasion, including Bia Stars (Adjoafua), Young Boys (Yawmatwa), Adom SC (Debiso), Soccer Lions (Debiso), and Justice Academy (Elluokrom), among others.
The Guest of Honour for the event is Eric Kwabena Bekoe, an ex-Black Stars player and a Kotoko legend, who is expected to inspire and motivate the club and its supporters.
The management of Adjoafuaman FC invites the public, football lovers, and stakeholders to join in the celebrations and support the club as it marks a decade of progress and development.
