Anim Yirenkyi Foundation to host 9th Annual Blood donation drive on October 10

The Anim Yirenkyi Foundation, in collaboration with Bia Lamplighter College of Education, is gearing up to host its 9th annual blood donation drive on October 10, 2023.

This year’s event holds an exciting addition – free health screening services for all participants.

This philanthropic event, initiated by Kofi Anim Yirenkyi, renowned morning show host for Vision FM, has been a beacon of hope for the Essam Government Hospital’s blood bank in the Bia West District since its inception in 2014.

The foundation’s mission is to provide a lifeline to those in need by replenishing the blood supply at Essam Government Hospital. Blood donations are a crucial element in saving lives during emergencies, surgeries, and for individuals battling various medical conditions.

Kofi Anim Yirenkyi, the Chief Executive Officer of Anim Yirenkyi Foundation, expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming event, saying, “We are honoured to continue this vital tradition of giving back to our community. Each year, our supporters have made a tremendous difference in the lives of patients who depend on donated blood. We encourage everyone to join us once again and be part of this noble cause.”

The blood donation drive will take place at Bia Lamplighter College of Education in the Bia West District, Ghana, on October 10, 2023. The foundation is expecting a large turnout of volunteers who are willing to make a difference in the lives of those in need.

Kofi Anim Yirenkyi extended a heartfelt invitation to the community, stating, “Please kindly come and support us. We have been doing this since 2014 with your support.”

For those who wish to contribute but are unable to attend the event, a mobile money (MOMO) line has been set up at 0244901152 to facilitate remote donations.
