Hon Oscar Ofori Larbi, the Member of Parliament for Aowin Constituency, has presented sports items to five Division Two football clubs in his constituency.
The items include five footballs and sets of jerseys and the gesture is to support the clubs in the ongoing 2021/22 Western Regional Football Association Division Two League.
The clubs that benefited include Achimfo Golden Stars, Akontombra Nkwantaman Fc, Kwawu Stars, Jema Young Stars and Jema Tano Stars.
However, this is the second time in a row Hon Oscar Ofori Larbi has donated sports items to support football activities in the Aowin Municipality.
The legislature is a football fan and ready to assist the Aowin Municipal Football Association and Division Two Clubs to discover talents and polish them for the mainstream market.
The Chairman of the Aowin Municipal Football Association, Isaac Bonah, on behalf of the football clubs, appreciated the Member of Parliament for his tremendous support towards football activities in the area.
He also called on cooperate entities and individuals to support the football business in the municipality.
