The Assembly Member for Achimfo Electoral Area, Daniel Asare, has donated 50 bags of cement to the Abochia commmunity in the Aowin Municipality of the Western North region.
This donation is aimed at facilitating the much-needed renovation of the six-unit classroom block of Abochia Methodist Primary School, which has deteriorated into a dangerous environment for the pupils.
The gesture is part of Daniel Asare’s commitment to fulfilling the promises he made during his campaign in the 2023 District Level Elections.
His previous contributions to the community include a set of jerseys for the school, five sets of streetlights, ten bags of cement, and three gallons of paint for the Junior High School.
During a brief ceremony held on Saturday, May 25, in Abochia, Daniel Asare urged the entire community to expedite their work to prevent unforeseen circumstances that could affect the pupils in the future.
The Assembly Member expressed his belief that this proactive approach would contribute to building a better community without always relying solely on the central government.
Receiving the donation on behalf of the community, Nana Ebbah Kajo III, Chief of Abochia, expressed profound gratitude to Assembly member for Achimfo Electoral Area.
Nana Ebbah Kajo III commended Daniel Asare for his commitment to the community’s development and wished him well.
