Audio: Avoid tribal ethnocentric practices-Western North NCCE Director to Ghanaians

National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE), states that “Our national symbols identify us as one people. Respect Ghana’s national symbols. We are One, Ghana First”

On this, Mr Awudu Dramani Sam, Western North Regional Director of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE), has advised the general public to avoid tribal ethnocentric practices and learn to encourage peace among ourselves.

He said we’ve come together as one people and it’s time to turn against partiality and bigotry in the country.

Mr Dramani made this known during NCCE Citizenship Week Celebration under the theme: “We Are One, Ghana First” held at Bibiani Presby School Park.

However, Mrs Martha Nneka Opara, NCCE Director of Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipality, has urged Ghanaians to practice unity to sustain the peace of the nation.

According to her, discrimination against tribes, groups, political parties, religious beliefs is affecting peace and unity in the Country.

He advised Ghanaians to put a stop to it and work towards Peace building of the country.
