The people of Domenibo No. 2 in the Bibiani Ahwiaso Bekwai Municipality of the Western North Region woke up this morning only to realize that a newborn baby girl has been dumped into a public toilet by a 19-year-old mother (name withheld).
Speaking with the Assembly Member of Domenibo No.2 Electoral Area, Hon. Danso Abiam revealed that the committee chairman of the area, Stephen Dwomor, who was attending to nature’s call around 4 am heard a cry of a baby in the pit and immediately attend to that.
According to him, he rescued and sent her to the Bibiani Government Hospital for medical attention and further reported the incident to the Bibiani Police station.
Danso Abiam seized the opportunity to urge parents to train their wards well to avert such bad deeds.
He further advised both male and female youth to also be careful when choosing a life partner.
“Don’t follow beauty or handsomeness else you will choose a regrettable partner,” he opined.
