The Western North Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr William Benjamin Assuah, has urged the party supporters to let go of all individual differences and ensure peaceful coexistence among themselves in their various constituencies and the entire region.
He made this appeal during the party’s annual delegates conference held at the Catholic Pastoral Centre, Sefwi Wiawso-Datano.
The conference was held on the theme: “Consolidating the gains of 2020 elections – the role of stakeholders”.
Benjamin Assuah speaking at the conference said the region is still young and so there’s the need for the party to deepen the unity that exists amongst them as members of the New Patriotic Party.
According to him, the supporters should let go of any differences in pursue of their common goal.
Also, the National Secretary of the party, John Boadu, in his key address urged NPP in the Western North Region to break the three Members of Parliament seats and increase them in 2024 elections while the party also breaks the eight.
Moreover, the Western North Regional Minister, Richard Ebbah Obeng, charged the party supporters to exhibit a good lifestyle towards everyone to break the eight-year chain of government system in Ghana easily.
On his part, the MP for Sefwi Wiawso Constituency, Dr Kwaku Afriyie, appealed to the party’s top executives to invest much in the Western North region come 2024 elections, and they will deliver.
The Western North delegates conference was attended by party executives from all the nine constituencies in the region as well as Ministers, MMDCEs, CEOs and a representative from the Office of Vice President Dr. Bawumia, Mr. Fred Oware.
The NPP Western North Regional Executives which include William Benjamin Assuah (Regional Chairman), Samuel Kofi Abiaw (Regional Secretary), Samuel Adu Agyei (Regional Organizer), Felix Foster Ackah (Regional Communications Director), Golly Antwi Bosiako (Regional Women Organizer), Mrs Gifty Adu Ankamah (Regional Treasurer) among others were present.
The Conference was supervised by National Officers of the Party including Madam Rita Asobayire (the National 1st Vice-Chair), John Boadu(General Secretary), (FF Anto (National 2nd Vice-Chair ), Lawyer Nana Boakye ( National Youth Organizer), Joseph Kwayaja (Deputy National Youth Organizer) and National Deputy Communications Director-Yaw Preko.
