The Sefwi Bekwai Traditional Council has appealed to the Inspector-General of Police to act fast to find out the head of 27-year-old Martha Tetteh, who was allegedly beheaded at Sefwi Bekwai in early June despite the arrest of three persons in connection with the alleged murder.

Speaking to the media at Sefwi Bekwai Palace, the Acting President of the Sefwi Traditional Area, Nana Katakyire Kwasi Afful II, said that although police have arrested three persons as suspects and one among the suspects is a traditional leader, they will urge the Inspector-General of Police to find out those in possession of the head of Martha Tetteh.

Adding that, they have heard all the concerns raised by the youth of the community and urged them with their unflinching support to end these manners.

They demand the head of the 30-year-old Martha Tetteh, those who killed her and what they were going to use the head for.

On her part, the Queen Mother of the Sefwi Bekwai Traditional Area, Nana Abena Aniwa II, disclosed that they were shocked after a member of the Traditional Council was allegedly arrested in connection with the alleged murder.

Meanwhile, the Mmreatehene of the council calls on river gods not to forgive anyone who hides behind any dubious means to support the perpetrators in terms of cash to free them.
