Adjoafuaman Fc has secured the bragging right after defeating their bitter rivals Bia Stars 1-0 in the Bia Crucial Battle of the 2020/21 Division Two league opener at the Nana Ahoin Panyin Park, Elluokrom.
The Bia Crucial Battle saw the display of quality football from both sides eager to win.
The Power Boys needed the win to prove to their rivals that they are prepared for the campaign.
Adjoafuaman FC won the day, thanks to a goal through a spot-kick by sensational Eric Badu Mputu in the first half.
Bia Stars were also awarded a penalty by Premier league referee Clement Nkuah (Sir Boss) in the second half but goalkeeper Ernest Mensah saved the penalty for the home side.
The two teams created opportunities to find the back of the net but it was not to be as the Power Boys were able to grab the victory. Abakah Lewis Jnr. was awarded the most valuable player for the match.

Meanwhile, the next match between Asuopriman FC and Tigare Great Wonders was called off due to a severe downpour.
Adjoafuaman currently leads the league table with 3 points while Bia Stars drop to the bottom with no point.
