Alhassan Mohammed Adama, the Constituency Youth Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Bia West Constituency, has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to President John Dramani Mahama for his visionary appointments.
In an exclusive interview with Sir Joe of Sefwinews, Alhassan Mohammed Adama praised the President’s commitment to youth empowerment and development.
He cited the appointments of young and dynamic individuals such as George Opare Addo as Minister for Youth Empowerment, Felix Kwakye Ofosu as Government Spokesperson, Sam George as Minister of Communications and Innovations, Shamima Muslim as Deputy Spokesperson to the Presidency, Beatrice Annan as Presidential Staffer, and Sammy Gyamfi as CEO of the Precious Mineral Mining Commission.
According to Alhassan, these appointments demonstrate President Mahama’s faith in the youth and offer hope to young Ghanaians who aspire to contribute meaningfully to national development.
He emphasized that these appointments inspire young people to remain active, passionate, and engaged in the political process, knowing that their hard work and dedication can lead to opportunities.
Alhassan Mohammed Adama also noted that the President’s appointments recognize loyalty within the party.
He mentioned that party members who have remained loyal to the party’s ideals and proven their dedication have been rewarded with appointments, citing examples such as Julius Debrah, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, Joyce Bawah, and Stan Dogbe.
As the Youth Organiser, Alhassan urged his fellow youth in the NDC to view these appointments as a call to action. He emphasized that loyalty, hard work, and competence are valued within the NDC, and that the party provides opportunities for young people to rise through the ranks and take on leadership roles.
