Bibiani Goldstars clinch victory over Medeama

Bibiani Goldstars delivered an outstanding performance on Sunday, defeating Medeama SC 2-0 in matchday 33 encounter of the Ghana Premier League.

The match, held at Bibiani Duns Park, showcased the determination and skill of the home team as they secured maximum points.

The game started with high intensity, and it was Goldstars who struck first. Ronald Frimpong scored an early goal, putting the hosts in the lead and sending the home fans into a frenzy.

Medeama struggled to find an equalizer, and the first half concluded with Goldstars maintaining their 1-0 advantage.

In the second half, both teams fought hard, but it was Goldstars who again found the back of the net. Alex Aso sealed the victory for the home team with a goal just three minutes before the final whistle, ensuring a memorable win for Bibiani Goldstars.

This victory was particularly sweet for Goldstars as it avenged their 1-0 defeat to Medeama in the first round of the Ghanaian top-flight.

With this win, Bibiani Goldstars have moved up to 10th position on the Ghana Premier League standings, accumulating 46 points after 33 matches. Medeama, on the other hand, have dropped to sixth position with 49 points.

Looking ahead, Bibiani Goldstars will travel to face Legon Cities in their final match of the Ghana Premier League season.
