Bibiani Goldstars demonstrated their dominance on home turf as they clinched their fourth consecutive victory at Dun’s Park on Sunday, March 10, 2024, with a commanding 3-0 win over Great Olympics.

The match kicked off with a burst of energy from Bibiani Gold Stars, as Ronald Frimpong swiftly put them in the lead just three minutes into the game. Their momentum only surged as the first half progressed, with Richard Odartei Botchway accidentally scoring an own goal in the 41st minute, further widening the gap.

After the halftime break, Bibiani Gold Stars maintained their offensive pressure, resulting in Frank Amankwah’s goal in the 56th minute, solidifying their lead. Despite Great Olympics’ attempts to stage a comeback, Bibiani Gold Stars’ steadfast defense held strong, securing the victory.

This win not only reaffirms Bibiani Gold Stars’ dominance at home but also marks a resurgence for the team after a challenging period in their season.

Although currently positioned 13th in the league table with 24 points, manager Frimpong Manso is undoubtedly pleased with his team’s performance and will seek to capitalize on this momentum to improve their standing.

However, Frank Amankwah’s outstanding performance earned him the Man of the Match award, further highlighting Gold Stars’ excellence on the day.
