Bibiani: Okyeame Radio donates to orphanage at Sefwi Lineso

Bibiani-based Okyeame Radio has donated items worth thousands of Ghana cedis to HOMA Ghana, an orphanage home at Bibiani-Lineso.

The items included packs of soft drinks, bottled water, boxes of biscuits, bags of rice, gallons of cooking oil, toiletries and an undisclosed colossal amount of money attached.

Speaking with Okyeame Amanebo, the General Manager of Okyeame Radio, Deetu Kwadwo Amofa (Alhaji Quality), said the station, in years, has donated to widows, mentally challenged and this time around, they decided to give alms to orphans.

The in-charge of HOMA Ghana, Kofi Boateng, who received the items on behalf of the children, expressed his profound gratitude to Okyeame Radio fraternity and urged other organizations and affluent individuals in the municipality to support them intermittently.

The beneficiary orphans also showed their appreciation to the management of Okyeame Radio.

An ardent listener of Okyeame Radio and staunch supporter of this donation and CEO of JOE GIFT kids paradise (Joe gift enterprise), Eric Gyamenah also urged the caregivers of the said children’s home not to lose hope but should continue to give proper care to the children and further called on other philanthropists to support HOMA Ghana.
