Big Aidoo Sworn in as Council of State Member

Michael Aidoo, popularly known as Big Aidoo, has been sworn in as a member of Ghana’s Council of State.

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Regional Chairman for the Western North Region now joins the advisory body that provides counsel to the President on national matters.

He represents the Western North Region on the Council of State and is part of the 31 members of the Council.

The Council of State, established under Articles 89 to 92 of the 1992 Constitution, plays a crucial role in governance, offering insights and recommendations on policy and national development.

Mr. Aidoo’s appointment is seen as a significant milestone, both for his political career and for the people of the Western North Region.

As an experienced political leader, Mr. Aidoo has been instrumental in fostering development, unity, and progress within his region. His tenure as NDC Regional Chairman has been marked by his dedication to grassroots development and governance.
