Construction of District Audit Service office commences at Bibiani

Construction of the 16 district Audit Service offices begins as Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Municipality inaugurates site for construction to commence.

In December 2021, the Ghana Audit Service signed contracts with eight local companies for the construction of 16 district and three regional offices.

The new facility to be constructed in the Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Municipality has been awarded to TMJ Ventures Limited on nine months contract duration.

The Audit Service through the Municipal Assembly has inaugurated and handed over the site to the construction company to commence and complete the project by the due time.

Present at the event were the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Alfred Amoah, Mr. Samuel Nii Odertey, Regional Auditor (Ghana Audit Service, Western North Region), Mr. Daniel Essaku Quansah, (Project Consultant), Engineer Eugene Appah Boateng (TMJ Ventures Limited), Peter Gyabaah Kumi, (Contractor for the project), invited guests and assembly members in the municipality.

Hon. Alfred Amoah, the MCE of Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Municipality, urged the contractor to engage the local content to create massive employment for the people of his municipality.

Also, he called on the contractor and the engineers to work with patriotism.

Speaking at the event, Engineer Eugene Appah Boateng of TMJ Ventures Limited said the scope of the structures consists of executive offices, archives and storage rooms, open-plan offices, meeting room and seminar room.

Others include kitchenette and server room, gatehouse and utility area, including the provision of mechanical, electrical and plumbing services, grading of access driveway to the site, provision of paved car parking space and soft landscaping services, expected to be completed within nine months.

He assured the gathering that the construction company, TMJ Ventures, is ready to comply with the terms of the contract to complete the project by the due date.

Engineer Boateng said his outfit will make sure most of the employment opportunities are given to the people in the municipality.

He, therefore, urged all stakeholders to extend to them the needed services to ensure the smoothness of the project.

On his part, Mr. Daniel Essaku Quansah, the Project Consultant, indicates that all terms of the contract have been agreed by the stakeholders.

According to him, he will work diligently to see the completion of the project within the stipulated date and see to it that the project creates massive employment for the people.
