DOL- Sefwi All Stars seek survival against New Edubiase

The stage is set for an exciting encounter at the Asafo Ramos Park on Sunday, January 19, 2025, as Sefwi All Stars, the sole representative of Western North in the Division One League, prepare to host New Edubiase FC in Week 13.

This crunch match is a must-win affair for Sefwi All Stars, who are struggling to avoid relegation, languishing in 16th position on the league table with a paltry 9 points.

In stark contrast, New Edubiase FC are having a relatively decent campaign, boasting 17 points and occupying 6th spot on the league table. The visitors will undoubtedly pose a formidable challenge for All Stars, who are desperate to turn their fortunes around.

However, the home side has been bolstered by the acquisition of two new players during the second transfer window, as well as the return of Ebenezer Okran from the national U-20 camp. These reinforcements could provide the spark needed to ignite Sefwi All Stars’ campaign.

Sefwi All Stars’ recent form has been patchy, with only one win in their last five matches, accompanied by three losses and a draw. Their last outing at the Asafo Ramos Park ended in a goalless stalemate against Soccer Intellectuals.

The management has urged all supporters to come out in full force and cheer the team on as they strive for a victory against New Edubiase.
