Enchico to host 5th Annual  WNR Inter-District  JHS Independence Day Quiz Competition

Enchi College of Education (Enchico) is gearing up to host the prestigious 5th Annual Western North Regional Inter-District Quiz Competition for Junior High School students.

Organized by Eagle Eye Educational Consult in collaboration with the Western North Regional Education Service, the event is slated to take place on the 4th of March 2024.

This quiz competition has become a hallmark event in the region, traditionally held every March just before the nationwide celebrations of Ghana’s Independence Day on the 6th of March.

It serves as a platform to showcase the academic prowess and intellectual capabilities of Junior High School students across the Western North Region.

In a significant development, Enchi has been chosen as the host town for this year’s edition, marking the first time such a prestigious regional event will be held in the area.

Enchico’s selection underscores the college’s commitment to promoting educational excellence and fostering a culture of learning beyond its own campus.

Schools from nine districts within the Western North Region, namely Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai, Sefwi Wiawso, Aowin, Bia West, Bia East, Akontombra, Suaman, Bia West, and Bia East districts, will be represented in the competition.

The event promises to be a showcase of talent, intellect, and sportsmanship as students compete in various academic disciplines.

With the stage set for an intellectually stimulating event, the organizers are issuing a call to action for support from individuals, stakeholders, traditional leaders, political figures, businesses, educational institutions, agencies, and corporate entities both within and outside the region.

The 5th Annual WNR Inter-District JHS Independence Day Quiz Competition is not just a contest of knowledge but a celebration of learning, unity, and the pursuit of excellence in education.
