Stephen Yeboah, Business School President of Akenten Appiah-Menka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development (AAMUSTED), believes the upcoming ‘Entrepreneur In You’ campus tour will empower students to create new ventures that contribute to national economic growth.
In an exclusive interview with Adolf Media about the summit organized under the initiative of the Africa School of Entrepreneurship, Stephen Yeboah explained that the summit would help students unravel their potential and create strategic connections in their various fields.
“I believe that our collaboration with ‘Entrepreneur In You’ has the potential to unleash the entrepreneurial spirit on our campus, empowering students to become innovators, job creators, and leaders of tomorrow,” he emphasized.
Stephen Yeboah listed limited access to guidance, funding, and networks, fear of taking risks, uncertainty about the future, and balancing academic responsibilities with entrepreneurial pursuits as key challenges student entrepreneurs face.
He expressed optimism that the summit organized by the Maxwell Investments Group (MIG) would bridge this gap.
He explained, “By addressing these challenges, ‘Entrepreneur In You’ and Maxwell Investments Group can help students build confidence, develop essential skills, and turn their entrepreneurial dreams into reality.”
Harnessing the entrepreneurship skills, ideas, and potential of young people must be considered in building a resilient economy while providing the necessary infrastructure and resources such as support, assistance, and opportunities.
Acknowledging the relevance of this, Maxwell Investments Group (MIG) incorporated what has now become the Africa School of Entrepreneurship (ASoE) in 2017.
ASoE drives entrepreneurship by providing opportunities, platforms, and resources to student entrepreneurs in various tertiary institutions nationwide.
