Bibiani Gold Stars apologize to stakeholders over coach’s brouhaha

Following the speculation about Kobina Amissah quitting the Bibiani Gold Stars coaching job, the management has debunked such rumour.

Coach Amissah made it known on Kumasi-based Wontumi TV that he has tendered in his resignation letter to the management of Goldstars FC on Tuesday, May 11, 2021.

According to the Public Relation Officer, Samuel Kwagyire, there was a slip of tongue when the coach was interviewed on the media platform stating he has resigned.

However, Coach Kobina Amissah has rescinded his decision a few hours after tendering in his resignation letter.

Speaking to Dokta Meshack of De – Beat FM, Samuel Kwagyire stated it has left with Coach Amissah’s 50 days on his contract.

He added that the management is working seriously to renew his mandate.

From the office of the Public Relation Officer, Mr Samuel Kwagyire, Gold Stars in a press release has apologized to its stakeholders for the inconvenience caused.

” Please, with all due respect, issues relating to the coach’s resignation is been resolved by the management of our dear club and would like to apologize to each and everyone for the inconveniences at this very crucial moment,”

“Please, let’s not forget that is a human institution and such occurrences are bound to happen, but we still have to be each brother’s keeper and to get focus as a team in dealing with such situations,”

“This will still help us to keep our dreams of qualifying for the Premiership alive,” Mr Samuel Kwagyire added.

Gold Stars is currently leading zone two of the division one league after twenty matches with 47 points, 8 points separating them and second-placed team Skyy FC.

Meanwhile, Gold Stars will play Sunyani Reformers in the MTN FA cup 2021/22 season preliminary round on Friday 14th May at the Sunyani Coronation Park.
