Goldstars: 3 players hospitalized after intense match against Bechem Utd

In a heart-stopping match against Bechem United at the Dun’s Park, Bibiani Goldstars faced more than just a tough opponent.

Three of their players, Frank Amankwah, Eric Bosomtwi, and Gideon Anaba, were rushed to the Bibiani Government Hospital for medical attention following the game, which ended in a one-all draw.

Anaba’s collision with a Bechem United player during the game caused a temporary halt, but he bravely continued after receiving initial treatment.

However, post-match, Anaba’s condition deteriorated, prompting an immediate rush to the hospital for further evaluation.

Bosomtwi, on the other hand, sustained a serious injury during the second half of the game, necessitating urgent medical intervention.

Likewise, Amankwah Frank struggled with the intense heat, leading to his admission to the same hospital yesterday.

Fortunately, all three players were discharged on the same day, around 9 PM, and are currently recuperating.

While they are on the path to recovery, the club urges fans to keep them in their thoughts and prayers.
