Goldstars end preseason tour in Central region with unbeaten run

Bibiani Goldstars has ended three weeks of pre-season tour in the Central Region in preparation for the 2022/23 Betpawa Ghana Premier League.

The miners played nine games with a draw and eight wins against Premier League, Division One and Division Two clubs.

Goldstars defeated Young Chelsea back-to-back (4-0, 5-1), Future Stars 3-1, 4-0 against Berlin FC, and 2-0 over AY United.

In other games, the Miners harmed MNS 3-1, Ajax Football Club 2-0, defeated Elmina Sharks 1-0 and drew 1-1 against King Faisal in their last game.

The Gye Nyame Boys scored 25 goals with 13 players getting their names on the scoresheet and conceded four goals.

Stephen Owusu, Prince Kwabena Owusu, George Owusu and Ebenezer Aboakye scored three goals each in the pre-season games played in Central Region.

Coach Michael Osei and the entire playing body arrived last night in Bibiani to continue their preparation ahead of their week one fixture against Dreams FC in the 2022/23 Betpawa Ghana Premier League opener.
