The New Patriotic Party (NPP) is making a fervent appeal to the citizens of the Western North Region to bolster their support and increase the number of parliamentary seats held by the party.
This call to action was delivered by Harry Addo, the Western North Regional Communication Director for the NPP.
The Western North Region comprises nine constituencies. Currently, six of these constituencies are represented by MPs from the NDC, while the remaining three are held by MPs on the ticket of NPP.
In a Facebook post cited by Sefwinews.com, Harry Addo emphasized the importance of this support for the region’s development, particularly for the youth.
He criticized the longstanding dominance of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Members of Parliament in the region, attributing the area’s lagging development to their perceived incompetence.
“We are appealing to the good people of the Western North Region to increase our number of seats for the betterment of the region, particularly for our youth,” Harry Addo stated.
“The incompetence of the NDC Members of Parliament, who have held their seats for countless years, has pushed our region far below the belt of development.”
Harry Addo highlighted specific constituencies where change is deemed most necessary, including Juaboso, Enchi, Bodi, Bia East, Bia West, and Suaman.
He stressed that it is time for these areas to experience positive change through the election of NPP representatives who are committed to driving progress and development.
“It’s time for positive change in Juaboso, Enchi, Bodi, Bia East, Bia West, and Suaman,” Addo declared.
He expressed confidence that with increased support, the NPP can bring about substantial improvements in infrastructure, education, healthcare, and job opportunities for the youth in the Western North Region.
