Ivory Coast: Adjoafuaman to play JDC in Zouhounou Championelle semifinals

The Power Boys will face Jankubu des Club in the first semi-final game in the ongoing Zouhounou Championelle in La Côte D’Ivoire on Thursday 22nd August, 2019 in Zouhounou.

Adjoafua based club is the sole representative from Ghana to partake in this tournament as they

trashed Niable Ziab Stars by 2 goals to nil to reach the quarter-finals.  

In the quarter-finals, the Power Boys managed to surprise spectators and their Ivorian counterparts by scoring late 3 goals making the final scores 3:3 after 2:0 down in Ivory Coast.

The Giant of Western North football later won the game (5:4) on penalties to progress to the semi-finals.

The inform Adjoafuaman Football Club has a step to reach the finals of the Zouhounou Championelle and an opportunity to win their first title on the land of Ivory Coast.
