Kofis Football Club has shown Anokye Stars, who are the real owners of the Asawinso land.
The two clubs based in Asawinso on Saturday locked horns at the Asafo Ramos Park to honour a date on matchday six of the ongoing Western Region Division Two League.
Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, RFA clarified Sefwi Asafo Ramos Park to host the Sefwi Wiawso Zone.
The game saw the exhibition of superiority football from both clubs keen to secure the three maximum points in the Asawinso Derby.
Anokye Stars dominated the first half of the game, creating numerous goals scoring opportunities but could find the back of the net.
After recess, Kofis FC needed the victory to gain the bragging right, which saw the technical team improving the tactics that saw them mounting pressure on their arch-rivals.
Upon this, Felix Owusu strike in the 56th minute to secure a win for KFC at Ramos Park.
However, Kofis FC currently leads the league table with 12 points, whilst Anokye Stars stays at the bottom with three points.
Boako Nationals has now dropped to second-placed with 10 points, followed by Rocky Stars with nine points.
