Maggie of Sefwi Wiawso has won the maiden edition of Miss Western North beauty pageant (MWN 2020).
At the final held on Sunday, December 20, 2020, at KeeGee Hotel in Sefwi Bekwai, Maggie triumphed over two other contestants to take the crown.
She faced tough opposition throughout the event from Bia West representative, Tina but managed to win the Best Model, Best Talent and the Best Cultural Display.
For her prize, Maggie took home cash of GHC 3,000.
Tina of Bia West who came close to the crown took the first runner-up position and walked away with a cash prize of Ghc 2,000. She won both the Best Project and Best custom.
Meanwhile, Vera from the Asawinso took the second runner-up position with Ghc 1,000 as her cash prize.
The event saw three outstanding judges which include Pollo Esposito (General Manager of De Beat FM, Asawinso), Western North Representative at the 2020 Ghana Most Beautiful, Adjoa and Nana Ama Akyenye II Queen mother of Sefwi Asawinso ‘B’.
The 2020 grand finale saw top politicians from Western North Region which include NPP Regional Secretary, Mr Samuel Kofi Abiaw, Mr Bernard Blay (Bia West 2020 NPP Parliamentary Candidate), Cocoa Sika (Bia West NPP Constituency Chairman), Samuel Nkuah (Bia West NPP Constituency Secretary).
Others include the sensational morning show host of Vision FM, Kofi Anim Nyirenkyi, CEO of Dinpa Solutions among others.
