My target is to increase the vote margin to 20,000 – MP for Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai

The Member of Parliament for Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Constituency, Hon. Alfred Obeng-Boateng has indicated that he is poised to increase the tally between the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and National Democratic Congress (NDC) in his constituency from 17,591 to 20,000.

Addressing party folks at separate meetings on Sunday, August 14, 2022, at GNAT Hall and Anglican Church in Bibiani, the political stalwart urged his executives in particular and the entire NPP fraternity at large to work extra hard to achieve this goal.

At GNAT Hall, Hon. Alfred Obeng-Boateng met with the polling station executives of the Estate Electoral Area and the leadership of all volunteer groups was also met at the Anglican Church, Bibiani.

The Member of Parliament cautioned party folks to settle all bottlenecks and eschew all forms of divisive tendencies that would derail the fortunes of the party in future elections.

“Breaking the 8 is not a mantra but an agenda which should be fulfilled.” Hon. Obeng-Boateng indicated. He continued that by dint of hard work, this objective could be achieved collectively.

He touted the various flagship programmes of the Central Government namely, Free SHS, 1D1F, 1V1D, massive infrastructure, and recruitment in all sectors of the economy.

He also recounted his achievements including but not limited to 25 mechanized boreholes projects, kindergarten classrooms, reshaping of feeder roads, 45,000 rubber seedlings for farmers, classroom furniture, 2021 BECE Mock sponsorship, Scholarships, pick-up vehicles for security agencies.

According to the MP, these successes chalked should be enough to prosecute the agenda. All party loyalists were tasked to be worthy ambassadors of the party by propagating the achievements of the central government and the Member of Parliament.

One project which was dear to his heart is the Dodowa project for Traders, Students, and Travellers outside of the Constituency. He was optimistic that the project would be completed and commissioned for his people within the shortest possible time.

Hon. Alfred Obeng-Boateng pleaded with the constituents to register for the Ghana card which is gradually becoming the sole document for transacting business in the country.

Other members of his entourage were Mr. Paul Andoh, First Vice Chairman, Mr. William Ofori Assuming, Chairman of Council of Elders, Mr. Solomon Boamah, Elections and Research Officer, Badu Joseph, Organizer, Ben Kumi, Deputy Organizer, and Peter Tanyah, Nasara Coordinator.

They took turns to address the gathering by admonishing them to be united for victory in 2024. However, disgusting and unprintable audios on WhatsApp platforms were condemned.

The Polling Station Executives and the leadership of the volunteer groups were excited about the such encounter with their legislator.
