The National Sports Authority (NSA) has pleaded with stakeholders in the Western North Region to support the outfit with funds to help develop sporting activities in the region.
Its sole aim is to promote not only football but every other sporting discipline such as; volleyball, athletics, handball, basketball, tennis, and so on to contribute to massive nurturing of talent to partake in national and international sporting activities, including the Olympic games.
In other to achieve that, the National Sports Authority (NSA) Accountant for the Western North Region, Mr. Richard Agyei Obeng, has called on the Western North Regional Minister, chiefs and citizens to support their agenda.
This follows their plan to raise funds as they intend to intensify the region’s participation in sports and provide at least some facilities for the other sporting activities.
“We need stakeholders on board, we need their support because we can’t do it alone, especially in terms of funds,” Mr. Richard Agyei Obeng told Liberty FM on PM Power Sports.
He said sports could project and bring development to the region, therefore, he urged all and sundry to assist in developing sports in Western North Region.
