NDC Western North to host Regional Appreciation Tournament

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Western North Secretariat is set to host the highly anticipated Regional Appreciation Tournament on Saturday, 11th January 2025, at Glisten Park in Sefwi Dwenase.

The purpose of this event is to express their heartfelt gratitude to the people of the Western North Region for their overwhelming support and trust in the National Democratic Congress (NDC) during the 2024 elections.

This gathering is not only a celebration of their shared victory but also an opportunity to reaffirm their commitment to delivering on their promises and working together for the region’s development and prosperity.

Teams Set to Compete

The tournament will feature four teams, each representing a constituency from the region:

  • Aowin: Zoin Colts Academy
  • Wiawso: Sefwi Wiawso FC
  • Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai: Bekwaiman FC
  • Akontombra: Akontombra FC

These teams have been selected to showcase their skills in a competitive yet friendly atmosphere, with each team eager to claim the coveted trophy and demonstrate their abilities on the field.

Prizes and Recognition

The NDC Western North Secretariat has outlined a series of awards to recognize the efforts and dedication of the teams. Prizes will include:

  • An appearance fee for each team
  • Jerseys for players
  • football for each team
  • trophy for the tournament winners
  • An appreciation fee to acknowledge the participation of all teams

These rewards are designed to celebrate the hard work and commitment of the teams, while also providing vital resources for their future sporting endeavors.
