Division One side Sefwi All Stars FC have sent a strong signal of intent with the appointment of highly rated tactician Martin Benjamin Appiah, popularly known as Appiah Fantastic, as their new Head Coach.
He has been handed the reins at Sefwi All Stars until the end of the 2025/26 season, replacing Bright Lord Ellis.
Appiah Fantastic joins the Juaboso-based club after concluding an impressive two-year spell with Debiso Soccer Lions, where he earned plaudits for his tactical discipline and competitive edge in the ongoing Division Two League.
A CAF License B holder and a Lecturer at Bia Lamplighter College of Education, he brings a blend of modern coaching philosophy, player development expertise, and academic depth to the Sefwi All Stars dugout.
His appointment also rekindles a familiar and productive working relationship, as he reunites with Eric Badu, a figure he previously worked with at Adjoafuaman FC and the Bia Lamplighter College of Education male soccer team.
Appiah Fantastic is no stranger to success in the Western North football landscape. In 2022, he led Adjoafuaman FC to the WRFA Super Middle League finals, where they narrowly lost to Cosmos Amankwah’s Sefwi All Stars.
Football has come full circle, as Cosmos Amankwah, now Assistant Coach, teams up with Appiah Fantastic in what many describe as a dream technical partnership.
Widely regarded as two of the most industrious coaches in the Western North Region, the Appiah Fantastic–Cosmos Amankwah partnership is expected to inject renewed belief, tactical clarity, and winning momentum into the squad.
Currently, Sefwi All Stars sit 4th on Zone Two of the Access Bank Division One League, having amassed 32 points after 18 matches, firmly in contention for promotion. The arrival of Appiah Fantastic is widely seen as a decisive move to sharpen the club’s title push.
The new Head Coach is expected to waste no time settling in, as he will officially make his debut on February 15, 2026, when Sefwi All Stars face Elmina Sharks at Juaboso Mampiobo Park.
