Sefwi All Stars drop points at Asafo Ramos Park

Sefwi All Stars battled Cape Coast Venomous Vipers to a goalless draw in matchday 15 of the Access Bank Division One League at the Asafo Ramos Park.

Sefwi All Stars pressed forward relentlessly, creating numerous scoring opportunities, but were consistently denied by the outstanding performance of Venomous Vipers’ goalkeeper Ceaser Amo Coleman, who thwarted their attacks with remarkable saves.

The match saw Sefwi All Stars’ captain, James Kwadwo Asare, step up to take a penalty, but unfortunately, he couldn’t convert, leaving the fans on the edge of their seats.

Despite the missed opportunity, Sefwi All Stars displayed commendable resilience but the deadlock remained unbroken throughout the ninety minutes.

With this draw, Sefwi All Stars has taken a step forward on the league table, now occupying the 9th position in Zone Two of the Access Bank Division One League standings, accumulating a total of 19 points.

Looking ahead, Sefwi All Stars will face Cape Coast Mysterious Dwarfs at Asafo Ramos Park on Wednesday, 6th March 2024, for matchday 16 of the Access Bank Division One League.
