Sefwi All Stars shock League Leaders Swedru All Blacks at Ramos Park

Sefwi All Stars produced a stunning performance to defeat Division One League Zone 2 league leaders Swedru All Blacks United FC with a well-deserved 2-0 victory at the Asafo Ramos Park on Sunday.

The home side put on a spirited display, outclassing the visitors with brilliant attacking play and solid defensive organization.

The win marks a significant turning point for Sefwi All Stars as they fight their way up the league table.

However, the home side stood firm and gradually grew into the game. Their patience paid off in the 40th minute when Prince Ntori scored the opener, sending the home fans into a frenzy.

Just before the halftime whistle, Sefwi All Stars doubled their lead through Okrah Ebenezer, who found the back of the net in the sixth minute of added time (45+6’).

The two quick goals gave Sefwi All Stars a comfortable lead heading into the break, putting the visitors under immense pressure.

In the second half, Swedru All Blacks pushed hard to get back into the game, but Sefwi All Stars’ defense held their ground, denying every attempt from the league leaders.

The visitors did their best but struggled to break through the disciplined defensive setup of the home team. The match ended 2-0, marking one of Sefwi All Stars’ most impressive victories of the season.

With this vital win, Sefwi All Stars have now moved to 11th position with 22 points, a much-needed boost in their campaign.

The club will now turn their attention to their next fixture, a crucial away match against Mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs in Cape Coast on March 16th.
