The uncompleted Sefwi Nsawora Health Centre impeding proper health delivery according to the medical superintendent.
This, and others he has appealed to the contractor on-site to speed up construction work to ease some basic challenges at the health centre.
The Medical Superintendent of Sefwi Nsawora Health Center in the Akontombra District of the Western North region, Charles Kwabena Amoako has made a passionate appeal to the contractor working on Nsawora Health centre and authorities to speed up.
According to the Medical Superintendent, the facility is still as it is regardless of the contractor being on site.
Amoako urged that works must be speedily done on the health centre to ease basic challenges staff and patients go through.
The medical superintendent made the comment when the Presbyterian Church in Nsawora embarked on a cleanup exercise at the health centre.
The Presbyterian Church Minister for Nsawora-Edumafua District, Reverend Simon Lambert Ackadoh speaking to Sefwinews.com explained the motive for the cleanup exercise.
Rev. Lambert said it was part of the church’s decision to make the environment clean hence they chose to embark on a cleanup workout at the Nsawora Health centre to ensure or improve good health delivery.
However, the District Chief Executive for Akontombra who is also a member of the Presbyterian Church in Nsawora, Yawson Amoah admitted the challenges facing the health centre.
He assured that he will talk to the contractor and consultant on-site to speed up their activities.
