Sefwi Wiawso NDC PC organises free NHIS Registration for constituents

Kofi Bentel Afful, the Parliamentary Candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Sefwi Wiawso constituency, has initiated a free National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) registration drive for several communities within his constituency.

This initiative began on Wesnesday, July 3, 2024, and marks the first phase of his commitment to improving healthcare accessibility for his constituents.

The communities benefiting from this first phase of free NHIS registration include Anglo, Nsuosua, Sui, Nkonya, Nyamendae, Keteboye, Abrabra, and Mile III.

The drive commenced in Anglo on Wesnesday, July 3, 2024, and will continue in the following days until all eligible residents in these areas are registered.

This initiative was prompted by feedback received during community engagements, where residents expressed the need for assistance with NHIS registration.

Kofi Bentel Afful, the NDC Parliamentary Candidate for the Sefwi Wiawso constituency, expressed his heartfelt commitment to the people of his constituency during the commencement of the free NHIS registration drive.

In his speech, he emphasized the critical importance of healthcare access, stating, “My dear people of Sefwi Wiawso constituency, I am deeply honoured to stand before you today as we embark on this important initiative to provide free NHIS registration for our communities.”

“Your health and well-being are my top priorities, and I am committed to ensuring that every resident has access to the healthcare services they deserve.”

Kofi Bentel Afful also highlighted that this initiative is a direct response to the needs and requests of the people, which he gathered during his community engagements. He reassured the residents of his unwavering support.

“This initiative is born out of your requests, and it is my sincere belief that by working together, we can improve the quality of life for everyone in Sefwi Wiawso. I promise to remain accessible and supportive, ensuring that your voices are heard and your needs are met. Together, we will build a healthier and stronger community.”

Joseph Agyemang, the Deputy NDC Constituency Organizer, expressed gratitude for Bentel’s proactive approach in addressing the community’s concerns and reaffirmed their collective dedication to enhancing living standards through such impactful initiatives.
