Soccer Lions extend unbeaten streak with victory over Nketiasoman

Soccer Lions completed their sixth unbeaten run after defeating Nketiasoman FC in a preparatory game ahead of the WRFA Super Middle League.

The Simba Boys secured a hard-fought 1-0 win over Nketiasoman FC on Sunday at Prophet Kwame Moses Park in Debiso.

The Lions have been impressive in their preparation games, though yesterday’s match against Nketiasoman was a challenging one.

Both the Simba Boys and the Fire Boys had several opportunities in the first half but were unable to find the back of the net.

After the break, Coach Alonso of Nketiasoman and his team dominated the second half, creating a series of chances but failing to break the deadlock.

Later in the game, Coach Appiah’s strategic introduction of Nell Ayensu and others relieved the pressure on the Soccer Lions, leading to Nell Ayensu’s decisive goal for the home side.

Soccer Lions have previously defeated Asona FC 5-1, Bia SecTech 3-0, and Ogidi Stars 5-2. They also drew 1-1 with Sefwi All Stars and had a goalless match against Adjoafuaman FC.
